What a Wonderful Window

A window opened over Estonian, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese and Turkish schools

This is the window where / The voices of our childhood meet

This is the window where / A kingdom of tenderness and tolerance begins

And together, holding hands, / We build

An alfabeth of peace and hope (Domingos Santos)

meeting in Sicily 27th April_6th May 2006(Italy)

Something wonderful happened in Sicily!

"Sounds, colours, words and eyes have met inside us. A flower has bloomed, it has been called friendship, it has been called joy. It has flown..... and flown.....and flown, landed on all our hearts. And all has become wonderful and shining."

Our visit to the italian blog (Portugal)

Today we visited the six blogs of the six countries that are at our wonderful window.
We looked more carefully at the italian blog because it is the most "fed", and also because some of our teachers visited the italian school, last week.
As our blog doesn't has much information, we promise that, step by step, we will contribute to update it.

We are in Sicily (Turkey)

We are very happy to be in Sicily with our partners.

Visit in Sicily (Norway)

Today it's Sunday and we are having a meeting at the school in Bagheria. We have just planted a tree for peace. It was an olive tree. Many pupils and their parents were present. It was a real nice time. Later today, after lunch, we are going for a guided tour to some fishing villages nearby. We have met a lot of nice teachers and principals from the participating countries. We are looking forward to the rest of our stay here in Sicily.

Greetings from Aud, Solveig and Kari Marie
